The Boxer Rebellion

If anyone has read the 19 posts in my Saints Soldiers entry then you would understand my posting of this fight night way back in March in Puerto Rico. Be sure to turn up the volume on your computer.

Sweet pictures.

There's nothing quite like people punching one another in the head to help learn skills in counseling. :)

Blase? I suppose I could rip off another name like Adrian or Micky, or I could borrow a name from another classic series but the truth of the matter is that there are really no interesting names for females. Besides, if I had posted my previous comment with a different name you wouldn't have known it was me. I suppose I could be "posts too many comments on someone's blog" :) Do you have any suggestions for me?
Being mysterious is not my intent/concern I just don't want to post my name on the internet.
One more thing, how can you be Apollo Creed when there is absolutely no proof that you were fighting that night or any other night?

ha ha....your right. I wasnt fighting that night, I was the unpaid photographer of the event.
I am a pacifist who I wants to take jujitsu...
well if I cant have apollo creed, which is a cool name, can I take the Russian's name?
There may not be any cool female names from the Rocky series but by midnight tonight I will compose a list of very cool female names for your choosing.

So, it's Friday and I am still eagerly awaiting my list of "cool female names". I don't think Lost lasts longer than 24hrs, though I see now why so many enjoy the show. I watched my first episode Wed. and really enjoyed it. My Wed. nights were usually consumed with Alias but that will not be the case this season.

I don't know that Ivan Drago is a fitting name either, I think you are going to have to come up with something better than that. :)

Okay...I apologize. I have just watched the whole first season of Lost consecutively for the past 5 days and I still dont know whats in that darn hatch!
Now I am ready to watch my recorded episode of episode 1 of season 2.
Anyway, coming up with a new handle simply takes a bit of creativity and imagination.
Are we still on the movie kick?
Classics:
Ilsa- A classic character from Casablanca played by Ingrid Bergman..."Play it again Sam."
Tracy- From Philadelphia Story...played by Katharine Hepburn...what a great movie and Tracy was a goddess.
Scarlett- Dont have to tell you where thats from
Romantic:
Satine- What a beautiful name! And from a great romance musical...the Moulin Rouge!
Cora- From Last of the Mohicans...one of my favorite movies of all time.
Lucy- I loved Drew Barrymore in this movie, 50 First Dates...but hopefully you'll have a better memory
If your in the mood for more action kick butt kind of girl...how about
Ripley- The heroine that defeats the savage aliens
Jiao Long - The bamboo tip running warrior in crouching tiger hidden dragon

So there are few names referenced from movies that would be great to use...and I am sure if you thought about it you could come up with some too.
So hopefully I will see a more creative name pop up soon.

So, the infamous Ivan has surfaced again as Mr. Jordan. Quite an eclectic list you have come up with there! Ilsa is a true classic; Tracy was incredible in Philadelphia Story; Scarlett is not my kind of girl but thank you anyway; Satine is a beautiful name and that was a great musical but if you will remember she was also a prostitute-not really the image I want to protray; Cora was great-great movie as well; Lucy was hilarious, definitely kept me in stitches; and Ripley was amazing!

Thank you for your suggestions, they are great. I also have a few thoughts of my own so we will see what I come up with ;)

I am very new to this Lost Culture (I've only seen one episode) but here is a question for you...
If you were in Jack Shephard's position, how would you react to the situation he is in, what would you do differently, would you naturally step up to become the leader? (Ok, so maybe I have a few questions.)

The next time I post, I will have a creative name.

dear ms. anonymous...
have you posted on my blog latetly? I wouldnt know because you havent signed off with "formerly known as..."
I apologize about suggesting Satine...I forgot she was a prostitute! But hey, she died b/c of it right?
Lost is spectacular show...tonights show was great although disappointed it didnt conclude the part with Jack and the guy with the gun in the hatch.
If I were on Lost would I be like Jack.
I would hope so. If I was a doctor I would love to help people out...I think I would naturally be a leader...I always got the Joshua character award at my Baptist elementary school...so that qualifies me I think. : ) the keyword is natural, I would not force myself to be a leader...but be who I am and if people followed me then so be it.
Although I would go after those who needed my help. And then I remembered that Jack's last name on the show is Shepherd. Very appropriate, he acts like a shepherd by going after the lost.
And doesnt that remind us of the great shepherd?
Wow....common grace is cool.

I was very disappointed with last night's episode of Lost. The repitition of last week's show felt as though they had stolen 30 minutes of my time. Maybe it is because this is only me second episode, I suppose I will watch again next week. I love the way J.J. Abrams incorporates flash backs and such though. I was losing faith in good ole JJ b/c the Alias story line has gone to pot but maybe Lost will restore my faith again. Alias starts tonight and hopefully, this season will not be as bad as I am anticipating but we will see.

I have posted on your blog under "to sleep, or not to sleep" but forgot to post the "aka" I have remedied that situation though. I thought that you responded to my post but that my not have been you.

No worries about the Satine suggestion, however I am not sure what you meant by "but hey she died b/c of it , right?" As if that was the death that she, as a prostitute, deserved. She was still a human being, fictional but still played by a human. I know God is a very loving, gracious God but also very just and I refuse to make the call that b/c her career choice is differnt than yours or mine, that she deserved to die a horrible death.
If that is not the way you meant that comment then I apologize for jumping on my soap box-occupational hazard.
